I recently read about this and loved the concept s I recently read about this and loved the concept so much. It truly resonated with me since I don’t attach to objects easily. I savor the few things that I do hold deer to my heart and want to pass on to my family after I’m gone. The long and short of it is, Swedish Death Cleaning simply means you are intentionally decluttering your home and sorting through your things to indicate what you want to keep that will be passed on and what are things that can merely be gotten rid of when you pass. The point of doing it now is to live a simpler life. If you don’t care about something enough for one of your family members to have after you’re gone, why keep it now? That doesn’t mean you’re going to get rid of everything that doesn’t have meaning. It just means that you might sort through things with a different mindset. Decorate with more intention. The master bathroom remodel is finally done! Now t The master bathroom remodel is finally done! Now time to decorate and accessorize. First reveal on the books is the shower 🚿. I can’t wait to shower in here! I chose a large format tile from Floor and Decor for the walls and a hexagon for the floor. I went with a darker grout to keep stains at bay as well. We wanted the boys space to be “done” so they had a place to settle in the house while we kept working on things. One day we will completely redo it, but for the time being it’s been something we are proud of! For under $200 I turned this bad boy around. Cabinet paint, handles, door knobs, a new light fixture and mirror tape made all the difference. I got everything but the mirror tape from @loweshomeimprovement. The tape is from Amazon.
