From the moment I became pregnant, I knew I wanted everything that pertained to my son to be as pure and natural as possible. This included everything from the cleaning products I use in the house, to his soaps and lotions, needed medicinal remedies, and of course, his food. I knew I wanted to make all of his food, but I wasn’t exactly sure how to go about it. Then one day as I was out shopping, I saw the Baby Bullet at Kohls. I decided that would be the best way to makes my little man’s food, and I was later lucky enough to receive it as a Christmas present. As it turns out, this was the greatest way to make every one of his meals to date!

Because I’ve had so much success with the Baby Bullet food system, I thought I would share how easy it is to work. This way you can better decide to purchase one if you’re debating on whether or not to get this food processing system. Here is a breakdown of how this great kitchen gadget works in 5 easy steps!

Step 1: Get out all the items needed to make this quick meal. Most of the time all you will need is the small container, blending blade, the baby bullet motor, one piece of fruit or vegetable, and water.

Step 2: Prepare your chosen fruit or vegetable as instructed in the Baby Bullet recipe book and add the suggested amount of water. Most of the time they call for 1/4 cups for the perfect consistency, but you can add more or less for your personal preference. I also use nursery water to ensure Leo is only getting the best.

Step 3: Put the blade lid on the container and place it up-side down on the baby bullet motor.

Step 4: Push down on the container so the motor spins the blade and blends the food. You will only need to do this for about 10-15 seconds and your food will be done.

Step 5: Remove container from motor, take off blade, and Voila! Your food is ready to be served and stored!
Making food with the Baby Bullet food system is extremely simple to do and is a much healthier alternative to purchasing baby food. It comes with several storage containers, a larger mixing container, and a small spatula, giving you the option to make large batches at once. I generally makes 4-5 food items at a time and end up only having to prep food about once every 2 weeks. It truly has made making baby food much easier than I thought, and the additional benefit to this blender is that I can use it in the future for my own food blending needs!
