God is not testing you right now… the enemy is.
The enemy wants to hit you where it really hurts. Pull you away from your daily life, your friends, even your family. He wants you to feel hopeless and empty. He wants you to feel like your tank can no longer be fueled and your engine is broken. He wants you to feel like you’re stranded on the side of the road, crying out for help, and watching people pass by, unwilling to lend a helping hand. The enemy wants you to feel like you’re on this journey alone and you don’t deserve to keep going.
Now let me ask you this and answer honestly… are you letting the enemy test you? Are you letting him in?
You have to remember that God is the Almighty mechanic. He can fix your engine and refuel you every time you break down. He is there to pick you up every time you are stranded on the side of the road. When you cry out for help, He is there. God will never pass you by. You are never on this journey alone and God wants you to know that.
Now let me ask you this and answer honestly… are you putting your faith in God? Are you giving him the wheel?
James 1:12 says, “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.“
Isaiah 41:10 says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.“
Our world is in turmoil right now. Both globally and internally. Everything happening can feel like a personal attack against our hearts, our homes, and our loved ones. Are we called to recluse and fear? No. We are called to fear not. We are called to band together and praise Jesus for our lives. We are called to pray, love, and to put our hope in the Almighty Lord together.
God will prevail. Good always does. God’s plans are bigger and more intricate than we could ever imagine. We do not know every detail of what He has prepared for our world, but we do know that we are to put our hope and trust in Him. And we are to do this now and every day of our lives no matter what we are facing.
Psalm 37:1-4 says, “Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers! For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.“
Do not let the enemy pull the wool over your eyes when you are watching the news or scrolling social media. Do not let the enemy make you feel like you’re stranded on the side of the road by way of other people who were sent to bring you down. Stand firm in your faith and charge forward.
The best way to beat the enemy is to love your life during this time and proclaim that to the world! The best way to beat the enemy is to let him know he cannot penetrate your mind and destroy your happiness. The best way to beat the enemy is to joyfully proclaim that Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords as you wake up, smile and thank God for another day on Earth!

Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
You are the King of Kings! You are the Lord of Lords! I know that now and forever, You are the Almighty and will rule over all. Father, I thank You for my life and the incredible blessings You have given me over the years. I pray to fear not of the future, because I know that You are in ultimate control. Though Lord, at times, I fail and I do fear for myself and for others. I try to control what is happening around me to feel better. I pray that you remove this fear from my heart. I give my worries over to You and vow to live my life to honor You, God. You cannot be beat. You cannot be overturned. You cannot be weakened. Therefore, I find my strength in You, Father. And I pray to become stronger in Your love everyday.
Amen.
